Folk integration with PandaDoc

This guide will walk you through setting up and using the Folk integration to create documents with dynamically populated content from your CRM data.
Step 1: Connect Folk Integration
Navigate to Settings > API and Integrations in PandaDoc
Locate and select Folk from the available integrations
Click Connect to begin the integration setup
Step 2: Configure Connection
Select OAuth2 or Credentials
Add API Key from Folk
Success! Your Folk integration is now connected and ready to use.
Step 3: Link Integration to Template
Create a new template or open an existing one
Select Workflows on the right panel > +Add workflow step
Add a Pull data from integration step for the workflow in the right sidebar
Click on Pull data from integration step and select Folk
Step 4: Add Dynamic Variables (Placeholders)
Choose your data source for the template:
People
Companies
Click Open related variables to view available data fields
Select and add the variables you want to include (e.g., company name, contact information)
Step 5: Generate a Document
Start document creation from the template with linked Folk integration
Choose the specific company/contact record you want to use
Add document recipients
Preview the document to verify all variables are populated correctly
Review the generated document to ensure all information is accurate
Send the document
