Import a list of contacts with folk MCP

Add a batch of contacts from a speaker list, CSV, or copied table — without the import UI or manual data entry.

-Connect folk to your favorite AI tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT…) to read and update your CRM in plain language — no app switching, no manual digging.

What it does

Add a batch of contacts from a speaker list, CSV, or copied table — without the import UI or manual data entry.

Example prompt

"Here are 12 speakers from SaaStr — add them to my Webinar group: [paste list]."

What happens

Your agent checks each person against your existing records to avoid duplicates, creates any missing companies, creates each new contact with name, title, company, and email, assigns custom fields, and adds them to the group you named — all in one pass.

Tools used

  • search_people

  • create_company (if missing)

  • create_person (with group + custom fields)

Setting it up

Connect folk to your AI client via the folk MCP, paste your list (name, title, company, email work best), and name the target group.
