Update many records at once with folk MCP

Apply the same change — a stage, an owner, a note — across a set of records in plain language.

Connect folk to your favorite AI tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT…) to read and write your CRM in plain language — no app switching, no manual digging.

What it does

Apply the same change across a set of records — change a stage, reassign an owner, correct a field, drop a note on each — described in plain language instead of clicking record by record.

Example prompts

"Assign every unowned deal in the Phoning - Inbound group to Julien."

"Add a 'Q3 outreach' note to everyone in Leads I haven't contacted in 60 days."

What happens

Your agent finds the matching records, resolves field values, owners, and group IDs from your workspace, and applies the update to each in sequence — reporting what changed and what it skipped.

Tools used

get_workspace_schemasearch_people / search_objectupdate_person / update_object / create_note (per record)

Setting it up

Connect folk to your AI client via the folk MCP, then describe who the update applies to and what should change.
