Tap any person or company in folk mobile to open their profile. The profile is designed as a single scrollable page so you can see everything you know about a contact at a glance — without jumping between tabs. You can open any of the section — Details, Notes, and Interactions — to get more infos.
Details
The Details section displays the most important information about a contact. By default, you'll see three native fields at the top of the profile:
For people:
Job title
My last interaction
Groups
For companies:
Industry
Employee range
Groups
To see all native and custom fields, tap Details. This opens the full contact detail page with every field, organized by group.
Quick actions
At the top of every profile, you'll find quick-action buttons to start a conversation in one tap:
People: Call, Email, SMS, LinkedIn, WhatsApp
Companies: Call, Email, Website, LinkedIn
Each button opens the relevant native app on your phone using the contact's primary phone number, email, or URL.
Edit a field
You can edit fields directly from the profile. Tap a field to edit it inline (for simple fields like first name, last name, job title, or numeric fields), or tap to open a dialog (for fields with multiple entries like emails, phone numbers, or custom fields).
Note that permissions apply. What you can edit on mobile follows the same group permissions as on desktop. Viewers will see fields as read-only, with a banner explaining their access level.
Notes
The Notes section shows the most recent note added to the contact, right inside the profile. To see the full list, tap the Notes section — you'll see every note added to this contact in chronological order.
Add a new note
You can create new notes in a few ways:
On a profile, tap into the Notes section and tap "+" to add a new note directly to that contact.
On a profile, from any section, you've a floating "+" button you can tap onto.
You can mark notes as private (visible only to you) or public (visible to everyone in the workspace with access to the contact). You can edit and delete notes you've created.
You can also reply to existing notes or mention teammates by tapping "@". They'll receive an email notification and/or in-app notification depending on their notifications preferences.
Tip: Notes are searchable. Anything you capture on the go from your phone will show up in search results across desktop and mobile.
Interactions
The Interactions section gives you a full timeline of your relationship with a contact. It's split into two parts:
Upcoming interactions
The next 5 calendar events or logged interactions involving this contact. Useful before walking into a meeting — you can see what's coming and what was last discussed. If there are no upcoming interactions, this section is hidden.
Past interactions
Your full history with the contact, pulled in from your connected sources (email, calendar, WhatsApp, LinkedIn) and any interactions you've logged manually.
You'll see the interaction's subject, content, metadata, and — if you're the owner of the source — a link to view it in the original app (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.).
Privacy levels apply just like on desktop. Interactions display privacy labels (private, sensitive, subject only) so you always know what your teammates can and can't see.
FAQ
Can I see deals from a contact's profile on mobile? Not yet. Deals are out of scope for the first version of the mobile app, but they're on the roadmap. For now, you can manage deals from desktop.
Can I see all the people linked to a company? Not directly from the company profile in this version. To find people linked to a company, use search and filter by company name.
How do I customize what fields appear at the top of the profile? The first version shows a fixed set of native fields. Customizing the profile layout is on the roadmap — we'll let you choose which fields and sections matter most to you in a future iteration.
