With AI follow-ups, you'll know the best leads to follow up with, based on your past conversations using AI.
We scan your inbox and calendar to proactively notify you about the conversation that have gone inactive. You will receive directly a notification in your email inbox and/or in-app, to be prompted to follow-up. And we'll suggest a reply with your tone of voice and taking into account the conversation history.
How it works
AI Follow-ups automatically detect if a conversation has gone quiet, based on your past email interactions. If there’s a pending action or next step based on the context of the discussion, we’ll suggest whether it’s time to follow up.
We identify previously active conversations that have gone quiet and we'll trigger a follow up, only if you had at least 2 email exchanges with a contact in the last 2 months.
When it’s time to reconnect, you’ll get a follow-up suggestion with a pre-drafted message that uses your tone of voice and writing style.
By analyzing your direct interactions across connected accounts, AI Follow-ups provides the most relevant suggestions for follow-ups. (Note: CC’d email conversations are excluded from these suggestions.)
In practice, how does it work?
The process to create Follow-ups suggestions goes like this:
Identify active conversations
Our definition is:
at least of 2 emails (from a same thread or different threads)
at least 1 email sent by the contact
at least 1 email sent by the user
in the last {2 months}
Detect active conversations that went inactive
Use AI to identify if the conversation needs a follow-up (if there is a pending action from previous emails)
If no, do nothing
If yes, create a suggestion and the email to reply
AI follow-ups settings
Go to your Settings, in the section AI follow-ups.
You can customise the timing for your follow-ups and which contacts you want to follow-up with:
Only include people you’ve met: enable follow-ups only with people you have had calendar meetings with.
Follow-up timing: select the right timing to define when a conversation has gone inactive (after 3 days, 1 week, or more).
Filter by group: select the relevant groups (relevant contacts) on which you want to receive suggested follow-ups.
By default AI follow-ups are enabled, but you can decide to disable them if you don’t want automated follow-up suggestions.
AI follow-ups notification
Once you're set up, you'll receive the suggested follow-ups both in-app in the Notification center and by email.
You can also manage email notifications by going to Settings > Notifications.
The suggested follow-up will also appear as a banner on the contacts' profiles.
Following up with a lead
Once you've been suggested a follow-up with a lead, you'll be able to directly take action in-app to follow up with the lead.
Just click Follow-up from the contact banner or in the notification center. You'll be re-directed to a draft email with a suggested reply.
Based on your previous conversations and AI, we provide a pre-made email answer using your tone of voice and writing style.
Considerations
It only works if you have synced interactions on your contacts
It is only based on your own interactions with your contacts (only direct interactions, not cc or bcc)
It only works if the contact is part of a group
It only works if you had at least 2 email interactions in the past 2 months with the contact
