Any views in folk, can be published into a public view to be shared with anyone.
Publishing a view from your group, will generate a link to this view to access your contacts' list in view-only mode.
Itโs ideal for sharing a list of contacts to external people from your team (such as freelancers, clients etc...). Or if you want to give access to a list of contacts to teammates in view-only mode.
It can also be used, to easily transfer a group from one workspace to another.
How to share a view
Open the relevant view from your group, click on Share on the top right and then click Publish view. The shared view is now accessible by anyone with the URL, but can be unshared at any time.
You can set the view Title and the view Description.
If you enable Search engine indexation, the shared view may be listed on search engines (like Google, Bing, etc.)
Please note: only table views can be shared. Kanban views can't be shared yet.
The shared view
The shared view is a static list of contacts that cannot be edited by visitors.
It includes:
The group icon of the original view
The shared view Title
The shared view Description
All the fields displayed from the view
The view will automatically update, if you add/remove contacts or display/hide fields.
Visitors just need to refresh the link, to get the updated version.
Visitors can duplicate the contact list in their own workspace by clicking on Duplicate. The duplicated view will be editable but won't be linked to the original view.
