folk offers a native form builder that allows you to collect information from leads and automatically create records in your CRM.
This feature lets you create forms for use cases such as:
Contact-us forms on your website
Demo request forms
Lead capture forms for campaigns
Collecting files or pitch decks from prospects
Each form submission automatically creates or updates a record in folk.
If you want access to the form builder, reach out directly to the folk team to enable the feature on your workspace.
How the folk form builder works
The native form builder allows you to:
Create lead capture forms directly connected to your folk CRM
Map form fields to existing CRM fields
Automatically add new records to a specific group or entity type (people, companies, or objects)
Configure duplicate handling
Embed forms on your website or share them via link
When someone submits the form, the data is automatically pushed to folk.
Creating a form in folk
Once the feature is enabled, you can create a form directly from the Automation platform.
1. Access the form builder
Go to: Automation β Create a form
You will first need to connect your folk API key in the integrations or automation tab.
2. Configure your form
You can configure several elements of your form:
Form details
Title
Description
Submit button text
Success message
Form fields
You can choose which information to collect, from your folk's fields such as:
First name
Last name
Email
Phone number
CRM tags
CRM stages
These fields are mapped to your folk CRM fields.
You can also reorder fields to control the form layout.
3. Choose where records should be created
For each form submission, you can define:
Which entity type to create (person, company, or object)
Which group the record should be added to
This ensures leads are automatically organized inside the right workflow or pipeline.
4. Configure duplicate handling
You can decide how duplicates should be handled:
Allow duplicates
Prevent duplicates and update existing records
This helps keep your CRM data clean.
5. Share or embed your form
Once the form is created, you can:
Share a direct form link
Embed the form on your website using the provided embed code
Any submission will automatically create a record in folk.
Alternative integrations
If you prefer using external form tools, you can also connect:
Tally
Typeform
Using Zapier or Make, you can send form submissions directly to folk and create records automatically.
