How to use folk & TLDV (call recording)?

Updated this week

Connect tldv with folk to automatically push meeting insights into your CRM.
Each time a meeting is processed by tlvd, a Note can be created in folk and attached to the relevant People and Company.

What this integration does

When enabled, the integration will:

  • Create a new Note in folk from your tldv meeting.

  • Attach the Note to:

    • The People you had a meeting with

    • The primary Company associated with that Person

  • Automatically create the Person and Company in folk if they don’t already exist.

  • Add Notes only for external participants (based on the domain of your folk workspace owner).

How it works

  1. A meeting is recorded and processed in tldv.

  2. tldv identifies external participants.

  3. For each external participant:

    • If the Person exists in folk → a Note is added.

    • If the Person does not exist → the Person is created.

    • If the Company does not exist → the Company is created.

  4. The Note is attached to:

    • The Person

    • Their primary Company

Internal teammates (same domain as the folk workspace owner) are excluded.

How to enable the integration

You can enable the folk integration directly from tldv:

  • For yourself only → Enable for a single user.

  • For your entire team → Enable at the workspace/team level.

To activate:

  1. Go to tldv Settings

  2. Navigate to Integrations

  3. Select folk

  4. You'll be prompted to add your API

  5. Go to folk

  6. Go to settings > API

  7. Click on "New API key"

  8. Paste it in your tldv settings

Once enabled, Notes will start appearing automatically in folk. Just make sure to accept the tldv bot in your meetings.

With the code FOLK20, you can get 20% discount when using tldv.
